Welcome to KamakAra Safaris
At Kamakara Safaris we believe in showcasing wildlife in remote untouched areas of Zimbabwe. Having established two camps highlighting completely different aspects and terrain of the lower Zambezi River we believe in creating an imprint for all guests. Themed from the coveted ‘Out of Africa’ film, we have constructed our semi-permanent camps to bring the campaign back to tourism in luxury.

Nyamawani Pan is focused on green energy. The camp is run solely on solar power with a diesel-powered generator for backup services. As the pan constantly needs water to be fed by numerous wells, it requires a high demand for electricity supply.

Nyamawani Pan has six tents all with a unique view of the waterpoint, designed to offer prime game viewing with utmost privacy. Each tent is connected via raised walkways allowing for game to move freely beneath them and not interfere with any animal movement.

Manna Pools
Mana Pools National Park is a 219,600 ha wildlife conservation area and national park in northern Zimbabwe. It is a region of the lower Zambezi River in Zimbabwe where the floodplain turns into a broad expanse of lakes after each rainy season. As the lakes gradually dry up and recede, the region attracts many large animals in search of water, making it one of Africa’s most renowned game-viewing regions.
